Ambe Pansuli resort in Lonavala is located amidst the green valleys of the town overseeing the beautiful expanse of Pawna lake. This resort has a swimming pool and a jacuzzi where wooden decking had been installed earlier. However, being wood facing the high rainfall of Western Ghats, this deck started rotting and cracking and within two years of installation it had competely lost its aesthetics

So, the owners of this villa were looking to renovate the deck using materials which could do justice to the beautiful landscape. They wanted a material that would not only resist the hardships of outdoor environment, heavy monsoons and harsh sun but that would also look natural and complement its surroundings. They opted for RelWood™ which is 100% Water proof and UV resistant.

The project was taken up by Ar. Priyanka Nigam (PRICASSA Design Studio-https://pricassa07.wixsite.com/pricassa/about).

The decking was installed with a pale golden stain – a subtle and natural looking finish. Her team was able to finish the work in 2000 sq.ft area in a short span of a week and also add a unique touch of a lid for the Jacuzzi using the thermoforming properties. In the words of Ar. The decking was installed in March 2019, it has been more than a year since then and it still retains the beauty and elegance that it showed from the beginning.
